Diamond Princess deck plans

If you have been on Diamond Princess, do you recall if Baja or Caribe deck would be best?

Best for what? Not too much difference really. The Baja in one deck higher than the Caribe.

Have done this ship twice. You may want to ask this question on cruisecritic bacause I don't exactly remember the answer. I do think there are 2 "secret" cabins, in that they have the same square footage as the mini suites. But they are hard to come by and I don't remember either if their price is the same as a mini suite.

The Diamond has stair-stepped balconies. The lower the deck the larger the balcony but you loose privacy and can be seen from the balconies above. If you want the larger balcony go for the Caribe, for privacy go for the Baja.

I have not been on Diamond, but I do have a very definite preference for the Caribe deck as I enjoy the large balcony. It is half covered and half open. If you want sun or shade, privacy or wide open, you have all the options! Plus there are four chairs instead of just two.
