Deciding which Room--Carnival Legend
Hi All
I went to the travel agent yesterday and we are pretty muhch decided on the cruise we want to do. We are planning to go on the Carnival Legend in January. We are using that cruise credit toward the price.
I have no interest in a balcony room but was originally interested in just a window room BUT then we found out that the price for a window room is $200 more per person than one without a window. I wonder how the windowless rooms are since this would be $400 dollars more we can put toward excursions and other spending money there.
Any opinions would be great. We went on Carnival once in a window room so we know how they are.
Thanks!!

Heather,
You will find a lot of discussion about this subject if you do some searches. I have no interest in windows- we get the cheapest room possible because we spend absolutely NO time there. I prefer to spend as much as I want on clothes before the trip, gifts for friends and pictures from the ship.I can see the ocean from any place I want on the ship- I don't need a view or extra space.
HI Heather,

All Carnival staterooms are spacious. Just about all the same size (185 - 190 sq. ft.) inside or out except for the suites. Plenty of room for storage also. Just choose the lowest stateroom available and if there is a "guarantee" (TBA) available, choose that. You will have a 99% chance of an upgrade. To save additional money bok a category 1A which has upper and lower bunk beds. Again ask for a "guarantee."

Good luck,
