Cruise Stop in Lisbon: Transportation and Lunch
1) What's the best (preferably least expensive and safest) way to get from the cruise ship pier to the city?
2) Any recommendations for a place for lunch that the locals prefer?
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Yes, we've been watching the euro rise constantly since we booked our trip last October. In addition, we're spending three weeks touring with relatives once we get there - we anticipate a very expensive trip!!

Portugal is one of the least expensive countries in western Europe, so taxis and restaurants aren't too bad.
Cruise ships can dock right across from the main railway station near the center of the city, or quite far down the river. It's hard to say how much it will cost for a taxi until you know where you are.
