I see a cruise for 09 june 2019 if Royal Carribean that includes also Arctic Circle.it goes from Geiranger on one day to Arctic Circle for the next day and to Tromso on the next one. As is is our first cruise and we will be with 5 years old child and one year old baby i wonder if there will be big waves as i do not want children to be frightened or get sick at sea so asking your advice
- should i expect big waves - short or long periods?
- what is the weather at that time? Or maybe better on july without the Arctic circle (this cruuse only on june)?
- is it a good advise to go with children on this?
- 24 hours of daylight during this time?
I would like it to be a nice scenic cruise and not an adventure.

We did a similar cruise a few years ago in June and had perfect sailing weather but weather conditions vary continually so it's impossible to predict whether you will get good weather or not. All the big liners have stabilisers and can usually cope well with rough seas.
Geiranger is delightful. Also enjoyed Tromso - I think a shuttle bus was organised to get into the city from the port. While you are there, try to visit the Arctic circle cathedral which is simple and beautiful.
