Chichen Itza

What cruise lines or ships offer a shore excursion to Chichen Itza?

I know about Rhapsody of the Seas, Grandeur of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas, and Ecstasy. What others are there?

Holland Am doesn't now.

Direct replies to prather2902 at verizon dot net would be appreciated.

Look for a cruise that stops in Progreso. It's much much easier to get to Chicen Itza from here than from Cancun or Cozumel (that's why not too many cruise lines offer this excursion anymore from the more popular ports).

Off the top of my head, I haven't the slightest idea. First, Google "Progreso cruises" and see what comes up. This is where a good travel agent can help you; they can do this research for you, and an expert may actually know off the top of his or her head, as may other posters here on this board. You're looking for ships on western Caribbean itineraries. Some of these ships, including at least one Carnival vessel, go to Progreso. Or if you want to go through the ships by itinerary and homeport chart in our Complete Guide to Caribbean Cruises, the information will be there as well.

I'm really disappoointed with these boards. I've posted here, Frommers, and several cruise boards and gotten no names of any ships that I didn't know about before.

Sorry to disappoint.

How about a travel agent? They get PAID to do this.

On vacationstogo, you can select Progreso under "Port or Place to Visit" when doing a search.
