celebrity Millennium

I will be travelling on the Celebrity Millennium this coming February and wondered if anyone could share some thoughts about the ship and its amenities. I have booked concierge class with a balcony.

We travelled on the Millennium a couple of years ago and found the ship vey comfortable. I especially enjoyed the aqua spa area, many bars and casino.
Our staff were fantastic and we had a great barman in the Cosmos bar .

Went on the Millenium to the Eastern Carribbean in '03 and thorougly enjoyed it. Don't recall about the blow dryers, but the overall experience was outstanding.

The only thing I felt Celebrity did not handle as well as or better than any other cruises I've taken was the embarkation/debarkation process, especially in St Thomas where it took a couple of hours to get everyone off the ship. Likely they have streamlined this process by now.

I recommend splurging on the extra cost restaurant and as Lordy said the aqua spa area was enjoyable and relaxing. We made great use of our balcony which, along with the excellent room service, allowed for some great afternoons.

CC class on Millie gives you a larger stateroom, special breakfast menu and a few other perks which can be nice.

The Aqua Spa Cafe is my preferred breakfast and lunch spot on board Celebrity ships and the specialty restaurants a treat, with standard and wine pairing menus available.

Cruisecritic.com has a very active Celebrity forum.
