Celebrity Cruise Questions :)
I have a few questions that I hope that someone out there can answer!
1- does Celebrity have a one time fee for all you can drink soda? (or whatever it is called?). My boyfriends lives on soda and the bill at the end of the vacation for the soda may equal the bill for the cruise!
2-Can you bring wine to dinner and pay a corckage fee?
3-If I take wine, I will need a corkscrew, i am best off putting that in my checked luggage, right?
Thanks for your help

Hi there. Last Celebrity cruise was February 2003. We are booked for December 2003. As far as I know they currently do not have a pay one price for drinks, unfortunately. You can bring wine and beer and pop on board at any time. Wine is given to your waiter who puts it away for you and brings you out a bottle at your request. They chill (if required), open, serve and re-seal bottle if you're not done for a $6.00 US charge.

Celebrity does offer soda cards, however I don't remember the cost. They are for the whole cruise. The soda cards are for fountain drinks, you won't get a can.
The fee for corkage is $12 not $6. You don't need to bring a corkscrew with you.
We will be on our 10th Celebrity cruise this August so I am quite familiar with Celebrity.
Havbe a great cruise - - you will love Celebrity.

Yes, Celebrity does offer a soda card for unlimited fountain sodas only, not cans or bottles. I think it was $4.50 per day plus the customary 15% gratuity (about $36.25 for a 7 day cruise). Their offerings are very limited to Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Ginger Ale. I drink Diet Mt Dew and brought a bunch with me and a collapsable cooler for my cabin. The rooms have mini fridges (depending on which ship you're on) but they don't get real cold. We aren't wine drinkers, so I cannot comment on your other questions.
