Well, Eschew, that doesn't sound good for anyone using the Terrace pool. That was my favorite place on Crown Princess and Caribbean Princess. Afternoon, sailing away from an island, especially if sunset was the background, was glorious! I don't remember smoking being a problem on the cruises I took, but seems to me any smoking in that area might be annoying.

Could the OP avoid it by crossing to the other side of the elevator and toward Terrace area that way?

At least Happytrail's cabin won't be affected by smoke.

Thanks for your reassurance. It turns out the cabin was just fine, and our cabin steward took good care of us.

Ditto the men who waited on us at dinner. The crew did a great job.
