Big Ship or Small Ship?

I think we would very much enjoy each other's company on a cruise (or on land for that matter). Price and ports definitely make a difference, and even though I am pretty one-sided about the ships I prefer, in the final analysis you really make your own cruise regardless of the ship, don't you think? Hope you have a wonderful time ParrotMom and I'm sure you will, based on many of your posts that I've read.

I tend to like "mid-size ships" (Crystal/Celebrity), but would take a small ship as long as it didn't go on the ocean (really serious seasick issue). I've never wanted to go on a really big ship, but my sister booked on the Oasis, so now our whole family is going - and while I have no real desire to go to the places it stops in (been there multiple times), I think that the ship itself will be the destination, and I think it will be an interesting experience..... Plus, with the jewelry, you can get it alot cheaper in NYC when you know where to shop....
