The Supremem Court of Gibraltar is auctioning off the Renaissance R1, R2, R5, R6, R8 and Ren VIII on Nov. 13th and 14th. The R7 on Nov. 26th.<BR>the R3 and R4 remain docked on Tahiti.<BR><BR>Sounds like a great opportunity.<BR><BR>Paul

Did you just make up that figure?<BR><BR>Where did you get that info?<BR><BR>If it costs approximately 200 million to build the R Class ships I would presume the price would be about 114 million, opening bid.<BR><BR>Possibly the VIII, built in 1990 at 4,280 tons would start out at that price. Michael: I was just in Port Lucays last month and the ship's you refer to (the ex-Premier ones) were just lined up at the dock. It was so sad... They looked totally abandoned. LOVED the Rotterdam.

Bids are announced when it is not a bankruptcy process. I doubt the price will be announced until after the sale, if at all.<BR><BR>I know the R Class ships are in excellent condition and they are not going to give them away.<BR><BR>If I receive the news in my office I will post it.<BR><BR>Paul
