C'Mon Paul buy a ship. With all your groupies you should be able to scrounge up a couple hundred bucks.

I'd love to buy some of the now-defunct Premier Cruise Lines ships.......they had some classic liners in the fleet....Rotterdam, Oceanic, etc.

Did you just make up that figure?

Where did you get that info?

If it costs approximately 200 million to build the R Class ships I would presume the price would be about 114 million, opening bid.

Possibly the VIII, built in 1990 at 4,280 tons would start out at that price. It's a rowboat.

Just wine and dine a few bankers.

Paul

Michael: I was just in Port Lucays last month and the ship's you refer to (the ex-Premier ones) were just lined up at the dock. It was so sad... They looked totally abandoned. LOVED the Rotterdam.

Bids are announced when it is not a bankruptcy process. I doubt the price will be announced until after the sale, if at all.

I know the R Class ships are in excellent condition and they are not going to give them away.

If I receive the news in my office I will post it.

Paul
