Americans

I am a single mother with 3 children. I am picking a more casual cruise because I am on vacation and would like to relax. It is not because I am dumb, crass, etc. Its a matter of personal choice whether or not people want to wear tuxedoes on vacation. I will get dressed up if its formal and wear casual if not. Its about being respectful and not insulting others. If that is your opinion of Americans, maybe you should stay out.

Sorry, but I am missing something here,so perhaps you can fill me in.

Has someone said you are dumb and crass for choosing a more relaxing cruise.

And you are right.

It is your money and your cruise and your holiday...why would anyone criticize your choice !! hmm

Percy: I think this refers to a comment in the cruise forum under the thread Formal Dress Required?
Larry. BTW we booked a full transit Panama Canal cruise for Feb. 2009. Can't wait.

Thanks for the info jacketwatch.

I can always count on you to "fill in the gaps"!!!

Good for you for doing the full transit Panama tour.

10 more sleeps and I am off for Paris, Strabourg, Switzerland and almost all of Germany.!!!!

Hope they have not taken all of the Berlin Wall down...I would like to see a few rements !!

Thanks again for clarifying the comments made by writealiving.

Take Care.

Percy that sounds great!! I've always wanted to go to Berlin because if the history and recently I saw a show on the travel channel about it. Now I would like to go even more. Perhaps you can send a few tips my way when you return. Cheers, Larry

Hi jacketwatch

I am sure I will have tips about Berlin when I get back.

It is a very lovely place, from seeing many pictures of it,during my research.

When I get to Berlin I am staying at the Berlin Hilton which is right down town and walking distance to almost everything.

The third highest ( TV) tower in Europe is in Berlin.

It has a revolving restuarant ,which completes the revolution every 30 minutes.

So I will be going up there for lunch, dinner or a drink ,to see the great views.

Take Care

Percy
