Adventure of the Seas

I am looking for anyone who has sailed on Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas within the last year or so. Could you please tell me if the ship is in very good shape or does it look like it needs drydock?

2 yrs. OK? I was blown away by this ship. It was clean and looked very good to us and the amenities are amazing. The promenade area is fantastic. One of out traveling companions said she could stay 20 days on thes ship! I would take any of the Voyager cklass ships really. Larry

Thanks for your reply. Do you mean it was 2 years ago that you cruised on this ship? From my understanding, it went into drydock and back into service in May 2009. Did you cruise before or after that date? Thanks.

There must be someone out there who has cruised on Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas since May 09. Before I book I would really like to find out the shape of the ship. I have read mixed reviews and don't know what to think. All I know is I don't want a ship that shows wear and tear.

Try doing what qwovadis recommended and to to cruisecritic. You see tons of passenger reviews there. I don't think the ship is in need of repair but understand why you need to know. Try this site. I think you will get the answers you need. BTW You see who has submitted a review recently and usually can email them or just pose the question on the RCI board. You will have your answer very quickly. Actually you will get many answers.

We cruised on the Adventure in Nov, 2009. I seem to recall some wear and tear in the bathroom area....cabinets were not perfect, etc. Also the vanity in the cabin had some broken knobs I believe. The rest of the ship seemed fine. I don't recall anything "major" and we had a wonderful cruise. Our first time on this class and we loved it. Hope this helps!
