Young Island Resort
Any recent experiences with Young Island Resort near St Vincent? We are considering it and wonder about the noise from St Vincent and the glass on the beach problems respectively, but also want to know what you like about the
place! Thank you....

Hi,
I have stayed on Young Island twice over the last couple of years, my most recent trip being Dec 2004. I love staying here - the accomodations are secluded, beautiful and you are away from the action, but also close to it (via the small motor boat the ferries back and fourth 24 hours a day). It is a place that welcomes families (I have only gone with my boyfriend, but I have seen younger children with families there)

I stay aross the channel from Young Island at a small family owned place on the island of St. Vincent. I visited this past December and even though it was during the election noise was not ever a problem. One night they held a rally and you could hear some music but that died down around 10-10:30. i slept like a baby the whole time I was there. My understanding is mostly couples but families are welcome.
