Wyndham Sale
Wyndham is having another 72 hour sale for ByRequest members. Good for travel through 2004.
The only caveat is that you fully pay and is not refundable
Last time they did this, we booked the El San Juan for $105 / night.

Thanks Steve! I'm a ByRequest member and didn't receive any kind of notification. Did you? Fortunately I saw your message. Got the Wyndham Martineau in Vieques for $115 a night in December. El San Juan for $175 a night. Not as good as $105 but every little bit helps! Thanks again!

I've used ByRequest also and have found it to be of some value. Each time at the El San Juan I received cheese crackers and wine as a welcoming gift. Steve - I don't think that the sale is good for travel through 2004 - just through January 2004 - unless I misread the advertisement.

Exactly what was "shallow"? Spent several days at Wyndham in New Orleans and they had no clue about ByRequest. I pointed out that we were ByRequest members and they said "good". No amenities, perks, or requests fulfilled. The in room pc hookup did not funtion. Request for maintenance to fix a leaking pipe in the sink that had flooded the living room was met by a knock at the door by housekeeping to mop it up. The leak was never fixed. Request to change rooms was denied.
But then again, you are probably used to this kind of service.
Glad you had a different experience, but personal insults to someone you don't know is rather rude and infantile. Then again, this is the internet and you can get away with whatever strokes your ego.

Just got back from Wyndham Martineau Bay yesterday. Am a By Request member. Was upgraded from an ocean view suite to ocean front, bottle of wine on ice and cheese and crackers when we arrived. Stayed eight nights free and paid for six. Will post a trip report soon.

Tom,
You are correct, only good through January 2004.
The first one I received in August was good through Sept 2004.
Assumed this was going to be the same with a couple of months tacked on. Guess it is true what they say about assuming.
