Wyndham San Juan or El Conquistador

Going with my friend to Puerto Rico this coming June. Torn between staying at the Wyndham San Juan or El Conquistador. We are 25 & 26 yrs old.<BR><BR>Priorities: Beach and Nightlife (clubs)<BR><BR>Any feedback on either hotel?? Thanks!!

Both are nice, but in my opinion the Wyndham is in a better location. The El Conquistador is a lovely resort but somewhat desolated. If you want to explore some other places, the other one would be the better of the 2.

Considering your age the El San Juan is better suited to your needs. The dance club at the hotel is very popular with the younger set, local and tourist.

hi and thanks for your feedback!! someone else just suggested the hyatt dorado--i think our priorities have changed and we are looking for a really nice beach. what would you say? thanks again...

I've stayed at the Wyndham San Juan several times it is wonderful! The nightlife is great, the casino elegant, the beach and pools are beautiful. El Conquistador is also gorgeous but out of the way. If you stay at the Wyndham, go to the Parrot club in Old San Juan for dinner and the best drinks in town! The Wyndham is also close to so many other hotels, casinos and nightlife. Next door is there less expensive hotel....it's beautiful and seems to be more people your age. The Wyndham is an older crowd.
