Where to try next

Oops! I think I may have posted this in the wrong spot and can't figure out how to move it. Forgive me if this is a duplicate.

My husband and I are planning a romantic trip the last week in October. Over the past few years we've been to the Hilton in Barbados and Galley Bay in Antigua and loved both. Any suggestions for where to try next? We'd like to stay on the beach, witha access to good restaurants though an active nightlife is not important. We are primarily in search of r&r though a few things to do would be nice. I'm a big fan of shade so a beach with a few trees or an ample supply of umbrellas is a huge bonus. Any suggestions? I'm toying with Nevis, Virgin Gorda, Grand Caymans, and Aruba but could use some guidance.

We stayed at the Four Seasons on Nevis, and Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda. Both resorts had ample lounge chairs and umbrellas. There is much more to see on both islands than we did, so I think you'd find as much activity as you'd like.

But my personal favorite resort is Caneel Bay on St. John. Plenty of shade on Scott Beach under the seagrape trees!

Also thinking of a trip back to Anguilla next year, and hoping to stay at Cuisinart.

Thanks for the input. I think I may need to take Nevis off of our list. It's really hard to get to from the DC area.

Caneel Bay is lovely but big relative to say Peter Island which is more intimate and with a beach front villa it can be a vacation to remember outside of school vacations. I must admit the rate is a bit high but I believe it is worth it. You will be 99% out of hurricane season which officially ends 11/15.
