Wedding Eve dinner in San Juan area

Any restautant suggestions for our wedding eve dinner?

The plan is to have the reception in Old San Juan, so I would like something different for the night before...perhaps something on the water/beach or near a casino for after dinner entertainment.

Originally, I was thinking the Caribbean Grill at the Ritz, but the hotel has had some pretty terrible reviews. Restaurant would need to seat up to 100 people (not sure of the guest count yet) and not be horribly expensive.

I've also thought about La Casona and Zabor Creative Cuisine (due to Fodor's), although I can't find much about their menus or location.

Try the El San Juan Hotel and Casino - it has tons of different dining options. I have eaten in a few - very good. All types of cuisine - plus casino is right there. The lobby is jumping - more so than most hotels and in itself is entertainment. It is the most fun hotel and very festive - perfect for a wedding celebration

Have fun! Have you decided on a location in Old San Juan? That is one of my favorite places!

Try Pamela's at Numero Uno Guesthouse in Ocean Park. They have tables right on the beach and wonderful gourmet food. You can check it out at www.numero1guesthouse.com.

Whoops - didn't read your message in its entirety before posting - you could not fit 100 people at Pamelas. Sorry.

Thank you for the responses. The Tequila Bar at the Wyndham looks promising...I like the idea of the terrace. I'll try to get some info from them.
