We are going to the Turks $ Caicos the first week in September. What kind of weather can we expect?

We spent the first two weeks of September, 2003 in Provo. Everyday was wonderful. Hardly a cloud in the sky. The air temp was probably in the high 80's. Water temp probably about the same. Beautiful sunsets. It sprinkled a few times during the two weeks for a few minutes and then the sun came back out. Some times it sprinkled for a few minutes while the sun was out. All in all it was wonderful!

Hi, Shirleyk, we are going in Oct. I'm curious. Where did you stay? Any advice about "not to be missed"? Did you rent a car?

September is prime hurricane season but you have a better chance of NOT seeing one than you do.

We stayed at the Alexandra Resort which is on a very nice and quiet part of Grace Bay. We went snorkeling most mornings in front to Coral Gardens. Yes, we rented a SUV for two weeks. Roads are in need of work. That was our third trip to Provo. There really isn't anything "not to be missed". Just beautiful Grace Bay. Beautiful sunsets. Beautiful walks on the beach. Very low keyed and relaxing for us. owa-where are you staying?

Thanks shirleyk for your reply. We are staying 7 nights at Coral Gardens. This will be our first stay and we are very excited. Howard, from this forum, has been extremely helpful in planning this trip. It is so nice to be able to get information from experts that have been there numerous times.
