TV Rental in St. John

Is there any place to rent a TV & DVD player for a week in St. John? Our top choice for a villa does not have one.

While there may be places to rent them on the island, I would suggest just picking a villa that offers them to be done with it. One less hassle to worry about on vacation.

The one I'm looking at is called A House of Open Arms. I've written to confirm about the TV. The website says "The living room has a small collection of books and games, a plush couch made for relaxing, reading, and conversation, and original artwork decorating its walls." which I'm interpreting to mean no TV. Looks like a beautiful place. I may just bring my laptop to watch DVD's for that aspect of entertainment.

I went to their website. What about A/C? There is no mention of this which usually means there is none. If this could be important for you that is. Outside of that it looks pretty nice!Cheers. Larry

We had a tv in our villa when we stayed in St Thomas and we turned it on once and then didn't watch it for the rest of the trip - we were too busy out enjoying the island of St Thomas and St John. Then in the evenings our time was spent sitting out on our veranda overlooking the ocean while sipping our Cruzan Rum and Pineapple drinks. Other times we spent out at our private pool. Of course we were on our honeymoon so we definitely had plenty to keep us busy besides sitting in front of a tv.

At any rate I hope you enjoy your trip!

I don't remember any place to rent a TV or DVD player on St. John. There are probably places on St. Thomas, but you should just ask the rental agent. I would imagine many rental agencies have a set or two around. Also, the idea re: watching DVD's on a laptop is great. We did that for our daughter on our trip to France.
