The same Question-Nevis

I'll start off by saying Sorry for asking the question that I'm sure gets ask a hundred times.
Maybe its just my excitement since I only have 8days until I am in beautiful Nevis!!
This will be our second time there, and since we enjoyed it so much we are bringing some friends along.
Now when we were there last time we really just hung out, and went to bed really early.
But this time I want to adventure out alittle more-for our friends sake.
Nightlife-I was wondering where I can find info on what restruants are having live music, for example when does sunshine have the beach fire, ect.
Plus we are getting in on Wed.would like to start the vacation off on a bang, where would be the place to be??
Thanks everyone,
I just can't wait!!

Please don't miss Bananas Bistro high up in Hamilton Estate.
If your friends have never been on a Caribbean taxi (safe) adventure, they will be agape when you take them here for a wonderful dinner.
They offer an aged rum bar and selection of Cubans too,
Santa sez: Try the house (ber)martini or three........

Sunshines is more about the name, IMHO. The food is ok, and the service is beyond island time. Try a killer bee then head on down the beach to Chevy's Beach Bar. Also, we love Oualie Beach for the food and Coconut Grove. Yes, Banana's is awesome. We went there on our first trip and it was good but it was relocating last year, so we missed it!

I highly recommend going to Chevy's. Delicious food, beautiful beach, friendly staff (Chevy is quite the conversationist)

Oualie Beach Resort offers entertainment in the evening.

Visit www.myislands.myeyez.net for other options.

Have a great time and be sure to post a Trip Report when you return.

On Wednesday nights, Eddy's does karaoke and has a DJ.
Otherwise, at this time of year, there's usually a band performing at the hotels.

Hi Stephrb,

Welcome Back to Nevis, Let me introduce myself before I start so you know where my bias lies. I am the chef at Oualie beach Resort and love this little Island.

There are a ton of things to do around the island and each place kinda has a night. Here is the listing:

Monday nights- Chevey's on the beach- karaoke and a great place for a drink and socialize
Tue nights- Oualie Beach Resort- Beach BBQ and live music, Lots of people and a great time
Wed nights- Eddies in town- No more karaoke, but great dancing and a lot of fun, good food too.
Thur night- Nesbit Beach BBQ- The best band on the island playing plus a great seafood buffet
or
Double douce- karaoke on the beach great food
Friday night- Alie for live music, (sometimes quiet) or V's Court yard in town for dancing. V's is a hot spot and night club like.
Sat. Night in town- Sometimes court yard or Night moves by the pier is nice. Oualie has a string band
Sun night- Sunshines on the beach. Steal pan in afternoon at Oualies.

There are a ton of things to do. There are many great restaurants if you like to dine and there are nice lounges, like coconut grove or even four seasons to just hang out and enjoy each other.
I don't think you will have a hard time finding things to do here in Nevis, just ask around, it is a very friendly island and the locals will always point you in the right direction.

Good Luck and have a great time!

Steph - make sure you eat dinner at Bananas. The new location is just beautiful and the food is by far the best on the island. Have fun!
