Rum Punch Recipe
I found a recipe for Nat's Palm Grove rum punches on the Internet about 3 months ago and printed it out. I've finally been able to track down some guava juice to make it and now I can't find the recipe. I also can't locate it again on the internet. Does anone have any idea where it might be? It was on a page that gave a recipe for Palm Grove and another for either Cap Jaluca or Scilly Cay... I don't remember which the other was.
Try www.news.ai if it's not there you might even try sending the news.ai team an e-mail!
Most rum punches in Anguilla are made with fruit juices, a splash of grenadine, a hefty dollop of rum, a sprinkle of nutmeg. Some float a little Amaretto on the top to "smooth" out the flavour.
Don't be afraid to experiment. Good luck!

Cathy, I would love the receipe too! I know quite a few years ago Palm Grove and Paradise Cafe(now closed)had a write up in the Sunday NY Times travel section! I know Paradise's yummy punch was on it! Maybe that was the article you found. I will have to do a search and see if I can find the article! Please post if you do!

No, I still haven't found the one that I'm looking for. I've seen sooo many different recipes. Nat's recipe was pretty lengthy. Lot's of ingredients. My husband reminds me daily (since I found the guava juice) how good a rum punch would taste... I did try another one and it was OK, but I'd still like to find Palm Grove's.

This is probably not what youu're looking for, but it looked good to me!

Sea Chateau Fiesta Punch

The quantities of the ingredients here are relative. How much you use will depend on how much of the punch you want to make at a time.
1 "part" Hawaiian Punch
1 "part" frozen limeade concentrate
1 "part" frozen orange juice concentrate
2 "parts" rum (your favorite)

Put all ingredients in a blender with ice and blend until frozen to slushy consistency. Pour into serving glasses and top with a sprinkle of zest from an orange. Add more rum to preference.
Tip: If you'd like to serve this to the kids, just leave out the rum. The frozen fruit bases blended together make a wonderful special.
Hi Cathy,
I have contacted Nat at Palm Grove and he promised to send me the recipe. When he does I will post it here for you.
I don't know if he uses Angostura Bitters, but I can't believe I forgot to mention it before! Glad some one else did.
By the way, in case anyone is interested, a few drops of bitters in a glass of soda water is a great cure for an upset stomach.
