Quick, easy escape from Boston

Can anyone suggest a good resort/island to go to that is a nonstop flight from Boston and good for 4 or 5 days with a 10 mos old? I'd like something that has a nice terrace (oceanview) and is close to pool or beach. I'm looking to spend $200-300. I was thinking Florida or the Bahamas but would really like a more quaint island (St John ?)if it was easy to get to. Good snorkeling beach is also preferable.
Thanks

Hello! For affordable trips from Boston, check out http://www.tntvacations.com

They run charter planes to numerous locations from Boston, and seem to have good prices.

What time of the year are you going? If its in Spring/Summer, Bermuda is a good choice for a short visit because the flight is quick (Although its pricier).

You can also get direct flights to Jamaica (Air Jamaica) and you can probably find a more affordable hotel there...

American does have a non stop flight to St. Thomas. Check out the Westin. They have service direct from the airport to the resort!

Thanks! I forgot to mention that I hope to go before the end of January. Do u think traveling with a charter company is a good idea with a baby, I have heard stories of delayed/cancelled flights? My $200-$300 price is a per night price.
Thanks

Try and Priceline it. I have heard they let them go sometimes at $79 per night. Maybe since January is high season, they may not let it go for that, but, give it a shot!
