questions about certificates won on skyauction for spice island resort
I get answers about skyauction faster on fodors than from the skyauction customer service people. I won an auction for certificates at spice island resort (auction states certificates, not nights). So I assume the certificates are sent to me and then i book with the hotel, and not thru skyauction. is that correct?

Did you win the one that was for Spice Island itself, or the Small Luxury Hotels of the World? I've done the SLHW ones and they email me the certificates with the instructions on how to book. For the SLHW ones I had to make my booking via the SLHW representative, who confirms with Spice Island, then confirms back to me. Once that's set, I deal directly with the hotel. I even managed to change my dates without penalty.
