Question about renting beach chairs/umbrellas on different islands

Hi everyone,
My husband and I are considering a Caribbean cruise sometime in 2006. We love to sample different beaches, and I was wondering if most Caribbean beaches offer beach chairs and umbrellas for daily rentals. Some of the islands we may be visiting would include:

Aruba
St. Martin (Orient Beach)
St. Thomas/St. John
Barbados
Nassau
Grand Cayman

Thanks!

I have taken cruises that went to all those islands. Most of the time it is easy to find a beach where you can rent chairs. We usually do some research first or just ask a taxi driver at the dock to take us to a nice beach where we can rent chairs and get a drink or something to eat.

We have cruised with Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. I would say that Celebrity is our favorite. We would probably not go with Carnival again. We did not love our first Norwegian cruise, but went with them again because they offered an itinery we wanted. We were so glad we did, because we loved that cruise and have sailed with NCL again.
It depends what you're looking for. The new mega-ships are HUGE. We like a more laid back atmosphere, but still like having activities available if we feel motivated to get out of our lounge chairs .

I can only comment on Orient Bay in St. Martin. I have never had a problem renting beach chairs/umbrellas there, as long as there is availability. I would suggest getting there earlier in the day to ensure such.
