Please don't laugh...

but is Bermuda in the hurricane belt?

Very much so. Any hurricane that comes up the east coast of the USA (rather than going into the Gulf of Mexico) will have some affect on Bermuda. <BR><BR>Bermuda is 300 miles DUE EAST of North Carolina...that's not far.<BR><BR>Hurricanes that come up the coastline more often than not shoot out off of the Outer Banks of NC back to sea...and back towards Bermuda.

Here is another great link to keep track of hurricanes. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.<BR><BR>http://www.noaa.gov/<BR><BR>Through various links on this site you can actually track a hurricanes progress, prognosis, etc. Also some great satellite images.<BR><BR>enjoy<BR>Steve
