I am looking to go to barbados.... i did an orbitz search and found that prices were around $500.... that seems like a pretty good price, but i realy dont know... what is the average flight cost to barbados.... i am leaving from DC... thanks

That is around the same price that I am getting leaving from Baltimore- I looked on Travelocity. When are you going? We are going in June and staying at the Almond Beach Village. What hotel are you staying at?

We live in Fairfax, VA and fly out of Dulles. BWIA has a great, non-stop flight you can get. I think it's about $600 with taxes, but it's NON-STOP & that makes it great. With all of the confusion in airports these days, the less time spent there the better.

I would check American Airlines. They are offering some pretty good prices to barbados now.

Lois -- what is BWIA?

BWIA is British West Indies Airlines. We took it last year &amp; it was fantastic. They fly out of Dulles. You get in around 7:15 at night, but you have enough time to grab something to eat &amp; then start your day nice &amp; early the following morning. It returns to DC leaving there around 8:30 in a.m. &amp; gets you into Dulles around 1 pm.<BR><BR>Their website is: www.bwee.com<BR><BR>You can book online.
