Paradisus, Punta Cana

My husband and I just returned from Paradisus, Punta Cana. It was a great vacation. Everything was oversized from the pool to the 9 restaurants. A quiet spot could always be found. You could walk the beach for miles uninterrupted. Huts and lounge chairs were available on the beach. The people were friendly and helpful. The grounds were lush and kept beautifully. The water was warm although a bit rough. There was always a breeze on the beach sometimes more then you would want. Overall we give Punta Cana and the Paradisus high marks.

can you tell me about the food at Paradisus? Do they serve seafood or what kind of food do they have for lunch and dinner? How was the beach water clarity? Do you make reservation ahead of time to eat at the restaurant.
Thank you. Do they have a gym with modern equipemnt?

The water is clear and warm. Reservations are needed for the French and Japanese restaurants only. We loved the French but didn't try the Japanese. The seafood restaurant is good and serves lots of fish plus shrimp and lobster. There is a steak house which is very good. We enjoyed the Brazilian restaurant but be prepared for lots of meat. There is an Italian restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner where you can get dinners or just pizza. It's a thin crusted pizza which is good. There is a buffet grill for lunch which serves lots of fish dishes and other items. The larger buffet opens at 1:00 pm for lunch but since we're early risers we always went to the grill or the Italian. We never made it to the gym. We were lazy this trip. Lots of areas to jog on the resort or the beach. Hope I helped you out with this info.

Thank you diva45. Have you been to other resort such as Secret Capri in Playa Del Carmen. If so, how would you compare paradisus to other AI resorts? We have never been to AI. How was the room/bathroom contidion at Paradisus? I read some bad reviews about Paradisus and somewhat reluctant to go to Paradisus. I assume, all restaurants are clean and good enough?

The bathroom was large. Shower/tub/toilet in a separate room from the sink and vanity. The room was large with a king size bed. We've been to two other AI's. Divi in Aruba and one in Turks & Cacios. Paradisus was better then Aruba and about the same as Turks. Restaurants are clean. Bottled water is handed out like candy. We used it to brush our teeth. No one we met got sick from the water or food. I also read some bad reviews about Paradisus before going but we knew someone who had been there and liked it so we discounted them. Good luck on your decision.

My wife and I are going to the Paradisus 3-18 for the second time and we were wondering if the Royal Servic pool has been finished yet? Thank you for your help.

I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine to sleep. Does the Paradisus require electrical adapters? Thank You Butchf
