Our Lucaya With 3 Kids Under 8

I have found a number of posts with regard to Our Lucaya and that is where I plan to book next spring (I plan ahead!). GIven the marketplace across the street for cheaper eats, the best kids pool, proximity to beach, etc. where would you suggest the best place for us to stay is? I thought Sheraton had more families - but a post said parts of teh Westin had a lot of families. I understand Westin is better (more updated) than Sheraton but I don't much care about the room. I don't plan on spending too much time in there. However, I want a good view, with a convenient location.

Thanks!

Westin and Sheraton are right next to each other, you can stay at 1, use facilities at other-it's a huge complex. Can't go wrong with either. I think the rooms are nicer at Westin, but more families "play" at Sheraton side. It's easy to go back and forth between the 2, and easy to walk across the street to Port Lucaya with shops, restaurants, etc. There is also a square in the middle of Port Lucaya with bands and music every night, kids will love that!

I agree - either one. Sheraton will be a bit cheaper but the rooms won't be quite as plush. Be sure to book a room overlooking the pools/beach or you view will be the parking lots or worse. It is a very nice facility and the market place across the street is a BIG plus as the food and drink at Our Lucaya is PRICEY with a BIG $. Better off at the market place for most meals.

We stayed at the Westin. 100% agree with previous responses.
