Thanks CW, will take your advice & go & see St Kitts, I have printed off your suggestions & will put them in the file! We look forward to staying at the Nisbet & seeing the islands.

DianeC, if you rent a car for the week while in Nevis, then be sure to rent from one of the agencies that allows free use of a car in St. Kitts. You park your car at the ferry dock (I think the one we used was Thrifty, but it also has a local name), and at the St. Kitts end, walk a few blocks to the local office there. We did just the route that cw recommends, circling the island stopping at Brimstone Hill (you can see Statia on Statia if a clear day . Also, Turtle Beach and don't forget a stop at Caribelle Batik for beautiful handmade batik items.
