Nice Places to Stay

I have just started looking into possibly visiting the Cayman Islands in late November. It is just my husband and I and I think a condo would be best so that we can make our own breakfast and lunch. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a nice condo that is a one bed one bath. I don't have a preference of what side of the island but I would rather be in a more secluded area. I would rather be in a more romantic atmosphere where there are are not kids running around everywhere. I don't mind driving to activities and plan to rent a car.

Go to caymanvacations.com. They have pretty good descriptions of different properties, along with beach conditions.

FunSeeker,
Take a look at the "Retreat" condos on the north side of the island. It's away from the tourist areas and nicely secluded. We've been staying there for many years and seldom do you see any kids. Beautiful setting and the condos are gorgeous. There's several restaurants in the area, dive shop and bar also next door, but you feel like your really on a tropical island being there. Great snorkeling right in front of the condos also. You would need a car, but you would want one anyway to explore the island. Meta was right, check out caymanvacations.com and it will give you all the info you need. I highly recommend the Retreat though. IMO, it's paradise!!

Late November (after Thanksgiving) is going to be very quiet, "kid-wise", as school are in.... so take your pick of 1BD Condos.... of course my place is an option, but only one of many options, I suggest you read reviews on WhereToStay.com and do other research

Have a look at the Turtle Nest Inn (www.turtlenestinn.com). It is a small place, right on the beach and we loved it. You will need a car if you stay there. Each apartment is very clean and well equipped and they have a barbeque that guests may use. Also, twice a week the owners have a dinner for guests and that is well worth attending. If you do go, make sure you book an apartment that faces the ocean.
