By private pool do you mean a pool for use by all resort/hotel guests only or for just "the two of you"?
I the former, you are out of luck no such resort/hotel exists on the island, however, Nisbet Plantation, Montpelier Plantation, Hermitage Plantation and Mount Nevis Hotel all have pools for use by their guests. If the latter, and you want to stay at a resort/hotel rather than a private rental villa or condo then your only option is to rent one of the Four Seasons villas as they have a few that have private pools. You might be able to get one for $900/night if you go in "Low Season" but that price would normally be too low in High Season since the Four Seasons is the most expensive resort on the island. Suggest you check directly with the 4S to get current pricing as there may be some special promotions now that the island is beginning to open up again after the Covid shutdowns.

Their host became ill. They have reschedule their trip for a couple of weeks from now. I know the place is a two bedroom cottage style house with a private pool. So, should be able to give you some info in a couple of weeks if that is not too late for you. By the way, you may have a very strict quarantine on arrival. You do in St Kitts, so assume the same is likely true on Nevis.

Hello - I am new to this forum, and I wondered if Sassafrass can please share if her friends ever took their trip to Nevis and stayed at this cottage? I know it's been a couple years, but I figured I would ask. I would be traveling solo (on my first solo trip) and wanted some privacy and quiet time alone on an island I haven't been to. Thank you.

YogaGrandma: Check out Firefly Cottage (https://firefly-cottages.lesserantilleshotels.com/en/) - it's a cute 1 bedroom cottage nestled on the edge of the rain forest overlooking Cades Bay (on the western - Caribbean - side of Nevis). It's at the end of the road and very secluded so it will give you the privacy you are seeking yet it is only a short drive (or walk if you are fit) to one of the nicest beaches on Nevis, it's close to a few restaurants and only a 12 minute drive from downtown Charlestown. I lived on Nevis for 18 years and can tell you it's in a great location and exactly what you are seeking. You can also do a google search for links about the cottage to view photos and read reviews.

My daughter has been traveling. I finally spoke with her earlier. Turns out, a friend had booked the cottage for her visit to Nevis and DD did not remember any details except it had two bedrooms and a small pool. She said it was not fancy, but she had enjoyed it. It was quiet. She said just look for a two bedroom cottage with a pool, that there were not that many. I hope you find something you like. Sorry, that is not much to go on.
