Need Honeymoon tips for June, 2003

Hi everyone! My fiance and I are getting an early jump on things and are looking for Honeymoon places next June of 2003. We're thinking of Aruba, Bermuda and Turks & Caicos. We'd love a great place to just hang out on the beach with little interruption and sip on some cocktails. But we also enjoy great restaurants and bars, where it's sure to be more lively. We'd be staying for at least a week. We want a place that will be queit & romantic, but will have lots of other stuff for us to do as well. Any suggestions or recommendations will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Kevin,
If you are thinking of Turks/Caicos with a lively night life then you will be disappointed, but if you want beautiful beaches, wonderful blue/green water, great snorkeling with ease, day trips with ease, beaches all to yourself, and many you can drive to, kayaking, sailing, parasailing, wonderful restaurants with maybe a small music ensemble playing while you dine and have a cocktail then the Turks and Caicos are a great choice, if you want all the above and a little faster night life then St. John is a fantastic choice. Have a wonderful trip and I do not envy you in this planning stage of your wedding, honeymoon, costs, and on and on. Best of luck with your life together and Safe Travel.

All three are wonderful.
Bermuda would be the quietest of the three and so romantic--staying at The Reefs or Pompano Beach Club.
Provo in Turks & Caicos has some plush properties with beautiful beaches--we stayed at the Ocean Club-very nice and good service. The water at Grace Bay is so transparent--its incredible. There are some good restaurants so you'll not get bored. The Gecko Grill at O.C. was very good, fish at Sharkbite Bar & Grill, Anascona--one of the better restaurants, Coyaba (Coral Gardens), Grace's Cottage, and for a little fun-- Hey Jose in town for Mexican cuisine. We stopped at the tiki bar for a great tropical banana drink at the Turtle Cove Inn one evening by the Marina and there was a lively crowd. Places to stay in Provo include Point Grace, The Sands at Grace Bay, Ocean Club & Ocean Club West, Coral Gardens, and Royal West Indies.
Aruba-quietest place I've seen is the Bucuti (huge white sand beach)--best to rent a jeep or car for exploration. We were there in March and drove to Baby Beach--only us and one other couple. Many hi-rises in Aruba like the Hyatt, Radisson, Marriott or Wyndham may appeal to you--but not as quiet as Bucuti. Excellent restaurants in Aruba--we've eaten at many of them. Lots of nightlife! You're out of the hurricane belt and you'll not get bored but the island is desert like. Just enjoy those incredible beaches but the water is not as clear as in Provo.
Also, the Eden Rock Resort in St. Barts was rated one of the most romantic in the Caribbean by Caribbean Travel & Life Magazine. You would need a rental car in St. Barts.
Good luck--all four have a lot to offer.

In Bermuda I recommend Cambridge Beaches. In Aruba I recommend Playa Linda.
