Hi! I am planning a 9-night honeymoon for June 2004. I have no idea where to go! My main criteria is that it be all-inclusive. Also, I have been to Aruba so I would like to try somewhere else. I have looked into a lot of places, and it always seems like when you read the reviews, you find someone who hated the place you are checking out. Help!

There are AI's all over the Caribbean. Since all the islands are different you have to narrow your choices to those that have features which appeal to you. Don't let others pick your island. Get a good guide book, read up on the different islands. Once you've identified 2 or 3 that suit what you are looking for you can post questions about recommended resorts on those islands. You'll find your task much easier. Remember for everyone's taste is different so you are bound to hear mixed reviews.

My first trip to the Caribbean and first all inclusive was to Swept Away in Negril. Liked it so much, we went back the next year. It is a wonderful place for a honeymoon. It is a Couples property now. Even though I have travelled all over the Caribbean since, I have yet to find a beach I liked better. The water was always perfect, the beach huge and never crowded, and there was never an uncomfortable wind. I don't go AI any longer because I like to explore but I think it is a good idea for a honeymoon.
