Looking for an Affordable Bora Bora

My fiancé and I are looking for a honeymoon destination and while her dream would be Bora Bora or Tahiti in one of the over water bungalows, I think its just going to be too expensive.

We're hoping there's a place in the Caribbean that will have the small, quaint on-the-white sand beach bungalows we're looking for .

Can anyone make recommendations?

We don't need any luxury frills like 8 massages a day and 15 bottles of wine. We just want a cute little bungalow, a beautiful beach, and crystal clear water.

My first thought would be the Mahekal Beach Resort in Playa del Carmen, MX

I did a Google search and found this article:

The perfect place for you, Palm Island in St. vincent and the Grenadines. It is a minature Bora Bora (I honeymooned in Bora Bora so I know what I'm talking about) gorgeous sailing grounds for day trips (don't miss Tobago Cays, Mopion (a big sand bar with only 1 umbrella, makes you giddy) Mayreau and Canuan.

The resort is all bungalows, 5 beaches, and views of Union Island that will remind you of pictures you've seen of Bora Bora.

No over water bungalows, in Caribbean only in Bermuda and Central America, without the views of "Bora Bora. "

Palm Island is now running a special 40% off plus free air from Barbados:

It's all inclusive, so rates include your meals and drinks, and non motorized watersports

It's absolutely gorgeous, more affordable than Bora Bora, closer, and would be a terrific honeymoon.

Pictures of Mopion, because it's too cool:
