Looking for a fun Caribbean island need help!!

I'm planning a vacation for a mix of ages 21-50. All the islands seems like possibilities I'm just not sure where to start. Were looking for an inexpensive to moderately priced island with beautiful beaches and awesome diving. For the younger aged adults in their 20's we want a place that has some fun bars and an entertaining nightlife. In 2012 we went to Ambergris Caye, Belize with this same group and had a great time. We want that small island feel with local bars and restaurants. Were willing to rent cars to get around the island. We also like resorts that can be relaxing and quiet but can have some entertainment. Anyone have good ideas on where to go?

Add Playa del Carmen and Isla Mujeres to your list for "inexpensive to moderately priced" destinations.

Thanks for the replies! The last two spring breaks we've been to Cozumel and we might be looking out side mexico. Isla Mujeres looks like a fun place. Any other places in the Caribbean that you think would be a good option?

Negril Jamaica fits most of what you ask for (I don't think the diving is great though).

I didn't think the diving was very good in Negril, no corals, sand bottom, not interesting. Loved 7 mile beach though. Aruba's diving is not bad at all, the Antilla wreck for instance, it's definitely a fun island with beautiful beaches.

I agree Odin, that's why I mentioned it. But if they are flexible with that one requirement... Negril has SO much to offer. Either on the gorgeous 7-mile beach or nearby on "The Cliffs" where the hotels and garden resorts are set on dramatic cliffs overlooking the sea.
