Hi. I had to tell you that there's a particular comment you made on a particular thread that I thought was SO ON THE MONEY.
I've deliberately decided not to waste my time on that thread. There are some people who you can tell very easily are a certain way and nothing you can say will make them get it. It's one thing to not like a place for whatever reason and another to be intolerant, rude and insulting about it. I've been posting on Fodors for about 2 years or so and I've noticed a recent crop of posters who are that way which leaves me wondering why they bother to travel outside the U.S. There are very nice beaches in Florida and California after all.
I must say you said it very nicely. I couldn't do that.
I've almost stopped posting but I've had to remind myself of all the others who post great tips and share their travels in a fair and informative way.

There is another solution caribtraveler for those who really should stay at home. Why not find an island with lovely beaches, good weather etc and clear it of all locals.I think it so inconsiderate of the locals to be on the beaches in some of the islands that person visited!

Fiona: LOL. My jaw dropped on that particular comment too. Can you imagine someone from another country saying "Well Miami Beach would be really nice if it weren't for all those Americans populating it!".

And wasn't it you who posted that link with the beautiful pictures of Tobago? I hope I'm not getting my islands confused. Anyway, it looks BEAUTIFUL. I had to add itto my list of too many countries to see, too little time.
