Lighthouse $ for family of 5

Can anyone give me an approximate price (inc. tax & tip in US $) for a family of 5 for dinner at the Lighthouse? Our kids are 18,16,8. Thanks!

Where is the Lighthouse? I know of at least 5 restaurants in my hometown with that name!

No its was posted in the caribbean islands section. You have to be specific as to the island in your post. The Island selection helps when you are doing a search, but you have to mention the island in your post.

Most "upscale" restaurants in Cayman cost about the same amount (in US dollars): About $36+ for a bottle of wine, $9+ for an appetizer, $30+ for an entree and about $9+ for dessert plus 15% gratuity. You are probably looking at about $210+ for dinner.

Know that even "downscale" restaurants are not much cheaper. Food in restaurants and alcoholic beverages are very expensive in Cayman.

"Downscale" restaurants which are still quite nice and serve GREAT food can be found for approx 10-20 per person.

Your best bet for the Lighthouse, if you are concerned about cost, is to go for the lunch specials or go on Sunday for the "3 course meal" for $15CI.

Our family of 4 ate at the Lighthouse on Grand Cayman for $245. American. The waiters offered to not have our kids order off the menu, but to come up with something more suitable and less pricey for them - that helped the cost a lot as well as gave our kids more choices. Our tab included appetizers, a good bottle of wine, but no dessert.

Thanks for the info! I knew it was expensive and didn't want to be caught off guard.
