Internet access in St. John

Hi, there! This time last year my husband & I had just returned from a wonderful trip to St. John. We liked it so much that we recommended it as a honeymoon destination to my best friend, who is leaving on Monday. She & her husband want to know if there's a public place where they can access the internet on the island. Any suggestions?

I know there are others, but this place comes to mind and there is one in Cruz Bay and Coral Bay.

Donkey Diner in Coral Bay. Be prepared for slow connection speeds.

gechter - Here are my Internet access notes compiled from various VI forums. Hope it helps.

Posted by STJ resident: There are several places you can use a computer and internet. The above mentioned as well as Surf da Web, Cruz Bay, second level of the Marketplace Also Brinin' the Fun, Cruz Bay near Wharfside Village (they also do breakfast, so they open the earliest I believe).
If you do bring a laptop, Pastory Gardens has free wireless access. The Tap Room also has free wireless access. Quiet Mon & Connections.

Posted by DONKEY DINER: Donkey Diner.com has four computers for public use. If you have your own computer three ethernet hook-ups are available. There are two wifi networks for people to use during and after hours.Black and white as well as color printing is available during business hours.Additonal computer services including repair and diagnosis are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, noon-8pm, by an on-site technician. Walk-ins welcome.

Our favorite is Surf da Web on the second flood of the Market Place building. Tell your friends that it's the building where Starfish Market is. Do you know where they are stay?
