We are looking for a resort similiar to Casa de Campo. We would like a white sand beach, golf, and able to get around in golf carts. Does anyone have any ideas?

What's wrong with Casa Del Campo?

Most islands that have golf courses can't get around on golf carts.

Not familiar with Casa de Campo as the DR was not a destination we liked all that much.

The only destination that I am familiar with that offers golf carts as transportation is Isla Mujeres, MX. You fly into Cancun and the take the ferry over to Isla Mujeres.

It's a tiny island. You can circle it on the golf cart in about 20 minutes. The food was really good. Nice beaches and decent snorkeling. Not sure about a golf course as we don't golf. No nightlife and shopping is limited to tourist stuff. Great place to just chill.

Four Seasons, Nevis has a golf course and if you rent one of their villas you'll have access to a golf cart that you can use to get around parts of the property. Those staying in regular rooms, however, don't get golf carts and the beach has brown sand, not white.

The very upscale Sandy Lane on Barbados has an excellent golf course and a beach that has what many describe as "white sand" but golf carts are allowed only on the golf course.
