The bottom 3:
DR but only for the SD/Boca Chica area

These are the only two islands on my list. A third place I would not return to is the Rosarito resort area in Mexico, in the northern Baja area.

I feel so inadequate. Maybe we bought our place in St. John too quickly and now we don't go anywhere else. And some of these aren't even very big:
St. John, St. Thomas, Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Marina Cay, Peter Island, Virgin Gorda, Norman Island, Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Hawaii in transit. Ummh, Martha's Vineyard, Machinoc (sp) Island in Lake Michigan, Thousand Islands in New York and Taiwan are also islands.
We are looking into the Galapagos for next year. I still have dreams...

Travelling is so much fun!

I have visited:

St. Thomas
St. Maarten
St. John
Bahamas
St. Lucia
St. Kitts
Nevis
Curacao (as of 8/26/06)
Maui (as of 5/26/07)

St. John is, by far, our favorite island. It's like heaven on earth! Although Nevis was gorgeous...amazing! On the flipside...St. Lucia was VERY disappointing for us--just not ready for American tourists yet.

I counted islands I actually VISITED and STAYED ON.

I didn't count places like Puerto Rico, Barbados, Antigua...placed where we had airport layovers or switched planes.

If I included those...I think my list would be about 45 long!

gregg : LOL! I think that's why I've not been to more Caribbean islands!

The thought of taking so much time to get there...why I might as well go to Europe instead!

Puerto Rico
Vieques
Roatan, Honduras
Grand Cayman

We are planning a trip to Grenada and Tobago - any recommendations? How does Tobago compare to Tortola or Jost Van Dyke? Thanks for any help out there!

Fox, I think you'll love Grenada. Have you checked out the www.grenadatravelforum.com yet? I can't help you on the Tobago issues, but I do recall seeing a few posts asking about Tobago vis a vis the BVI on www.traveltalkonline.com on the Southern Caribbean forum.

My wish list:
Out Islands of Bahamas
Anguilla
Culebra
Bonaire
Mayreau
Canouan
Martinique
Saba
Statia

My wish list to visit again:
Nevis
Jamaica
Grenada

JAGIRL, we're almost there!
