Part of our "problem" is that we keep going back to STJ over and over...
St. John
St. Thomas (only to gain access to STJ)
Grand Bahama
Bermuda
Jamaica
Grenada (cruise)
Bequia (cruise)
Mayreau (cruise)
St. Vincent (cruise)
Carriacou (cruise)
BVI's Tortola/Virgin Gorda/Jost Van Dyke (day trip)
So many destinations...so little time!

I hate to rain on JAGIRL's parade but your question does not focus on a "real" relevant question, in my opinion. Therefore, all I will say is 90% of those islands listed and areas as far as Fiji, Malaysia, South Pacific, etc.we have visited in 38 yrs. of travel.
A specific question that we may be able to focus on, if you have one would be great. I do not mean to be sarcastic, but this is a Forum to gather travelers info on specific areas of the Caribbean.

The relevant question : How many Caribbean islands have you visited to date?
No advice sought. I just wanted to know. It's supposed to be a fun thread. And not to worry you didn't rain on my parade.
Looks like almost everybody here has been to the VI and the Bahamas. Funny enough I have never really wanted to visit either place. Now mayhap I ought to add those to my "to do" list

JAGIRL-Thank You!!
This IS a fun post, look how many are participating!! We all help one another on this board and are very supportive of one another.
I also sense a "community" within the members of this board, so it is fun to have a thread like this! We all spend many hours a day thinking of the Caribbean, this is our outlet!
AND- for the people posting about what island they should go to-looking for "relevant" info-answers can be found here as some islands are popping up on almost everyone's list!

JAGIRL, please tell me how did you get the coloured letters in the word Caribbean in your original post??? Thanks. 8-)
Now in alphabetical order:
Antigua (1x)
> would go back for sure
Aruba (2x)
> first time enjoyed, 2nd time we didn't due to Aruba becoming very commercialized and would go back only if we won a trip
Bahamas (very long time ago) (1x)
> would go back just to see what it is like now, but not high on our list
Cuba, Varadero & Havana (1x)
> would go back for sure
Dominica Republic, Punta Cana (1x)
> would go back for sure
Jamaica, Runaway Bay (1x)
> would go back for sure
Mexico, Cozumel Island (1x)
> would go back for sure
St. Lucia (1x)
> would go back for sure
St. Maarten/St.Martin (1x)
> would go back, but not high on our list
Although these Mexican destinations below are not islands, I thought I would post.
Cancun (3x)
> would go back, but not high on our list as it is very commercialized now and we would rather go further south of Cancun
Huatulco (1x)
> would go back for sure
Mayan Riviera, south of Playa del Carmen(3x)
> would go back and still our favourite so far
Overall Mexico still remains our favourite destination because it has so much to offer. The ocean and beaches are beautiful and the resorts are very good and there is so much to see and do there and it has lots of culture and history.8-)
We like to see new and different places. So many places, so little time and money. Wish I could win the lottery.
