Jamaica x 1 (didn't love it)
Aruba x 4 (love it)
Provo, T&C x 3 (heaven)
Others....Cancun x 3 (used to like it; too built up now)
Cozumel x 1 (liked it)
Playa del Carmen x 4 (used to be our #1 place until we discovered the T&C Islands).
On our short list to try...Grand Cayman and Anguilla

St.Lucia

Antigua
Isla de Mujeres
Cozumel
Bay Islands
Los Roques

CARIBTRAVELER: Ziggy is nowhere as popular as Damian Marley whose 'Jamrock' took island by storm and inspired many other 'ghetto protest'
singers. Commercial dancehall/US hip-hop may monopolize the radio/club playlists (Sean-Paul, Rhihanna, etc.) but Luciano is one of the enduring favorites on island.

Here's my little list.

Jamaica x2
St Lucia x2
St John #2 coming this November, notice a pattern here?
BVI's Virgin Gorda, Marina Cay, Jost Van Dyke, day trips
Grenadines, Union, Palm, Mayreau, Tobago Cays, day trip.

The island fever hit bad after St Lucia in 2003 and I can't seem to stop going there now. What an affliction!

With all of the travelers visiting so many places I have a question: Who has stayed at Parrot CAYE in T&C? How were the accommodations, food (it is isolated so one has to count on their restaurants), courtesy of staff and snorkel and diving outings they offer? We are planning on putting down a deposit next month for March or we cannot get in. All relevant first-hand feedback in past 12-18 months would be welcomed!
Thanks.

Oh Dear !! I have a VERY short list.
1.Barbados
2.Margarita Island
3.Jamaica
I guess what kept it shorter was 3 trips to Costa Rica. I think this is indeed a fun idea, and it IS informative. I can see who is interested in the same islands as I am, and in future direct questions at them.

This would have been a really interesting post if everyone would have told their top 3 favorite islands. Particularly those who have ten or more. So how about it?

Parrot Cay is very high on my list for upcoming trips -- especially since American Express just added it to their 2007 list of hotels/resorts to use your points!
