Honeymoon help
After a long struggle, I have finally decided on the Caribbean for my honeymoon holiday. This is a trip my fiancee wants me to plan, and she wants it to be a surprise. As of now, I have narrowed my selections to Raffles Resort Canouan Island, Little Dix Bay, Hotel Kura Hulanda Curacao, and Parrot Cay. I have no idea how to make the decision at this point. They all seem beautiful, and I'm sure its a win-win situation, but I'd love some imput from some people who have been to any of these destinations. Also, if anyone has any imput of some other world-class resorts, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Don't overlook the idea of a private villa for a honeymoon holiday.
St.John USVI is a fantastic destination for a honeymoon. There are 2 resorts there Caneel Bay and the Westin but in my opinion a private, secluded villa is more romantic

First and foremost do some research on the island. It's very small about
20 sq. miles, has 2 towns and about 40 beaches, 2/3 of the island is national park land. Cruz Bay is the main town on the west end of the island, on the east side is Coral Bay(not much of a town)The dock ( you have to get to the island by ferry nearest airport is in St.Thomas)and majority of shops and restaurants are in Cruz Bay however there are cool places on the east side in Coral Bay too. Deciding where you want to be is the first step, how much $ you want to spend on accomidations are also a factor and also what activities if any do you want to do hiking ,snorkleing, scuba, sailing, sunning on the beach. My husband and I prefer to rent villas that are private enough for clothing to be optional.
Some sites to check out are vivactions.com, caribbeanvilla.com,
usvi.com. Explore the island via internet and see were you'd like to be. Another site is Calabashcottages.com. I rented Windwardside villa last year and would highly recommend it. If you want more input from me I'll be happy to give it
