Recommendations for 2 25-yr. olds Honeymoon?

If anyone has any recommendations where to go in the U.S. Virgin Islands in June 2003 I would love input. We are on a moderate budget, so nothing to pricey. Great beach, adequate rooms, and courteous service a must.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

First, congratulations. As you may know, June is the low season there so you will get more for your money in terms if accomodations. For your honeymoon, I would definitely recommend a villa. There are some nice ones for not a whole lot of money. Definintely look for one with a dip pool. We used caribbeanvillas.com last year and were very happy. But get cracking -- good villas fill up fast! Also ask the reps there about under 25 yr. olds renting of cars -- the could possibly be a problem, but they may be able to help you since they have their own cars that they rent out. A little Suzuki would be fine for your needs.

For a nice celebration dinner, check out the Lime Inn restaurant in Cruz Bay -- excellent food and service!
Good luck.

If you're looking at resorts instead of villas and are on a budget, the Westin often runs specials. We are not "resort people," but if $$ is an issue, the Westin is generally more affordable than Caneel Bay.
We're going on our honeymoon in June as well. When is your wedding. We are thinking of going to Turks & Caicos. The beaches there look amazing! We got a quote for the Allegro there, and it wasn't too bad.

Here are a couple of beachside ideas on the more moderate side: Bolongo Bay, Secret Harbour, Sapphire, Villas at Renaissance (Blazing and Amazing), Bluebeard's Beach (former Lime Tree). If you stay in a condo or similar property you can save a litte $$ on breakfasts and lunches, cocktail hour etc. Best wishes to you!

Congratulations. We had our honeymoon on St. John and also rented a villa. Your date is in the summer, so you can get a pretty good rate.

It was so romantic. One villa we saw while there was at:

www.vacationvistas.com
"Splendo re Villa". Gorgeous. We didn't stay there but thought that the next time we go back, we would love to rent it.

There are so many to choose from. You can't go wrong with St. John. Gorgeous island and lot of fun.
