Help with Excursion Planning in Jamaica

Hello all, I'll be heading to Jamaica in March, staying at an AI in Negril. I'd like to plan a couple of excursions (e.g., Dunn's River Falls). I know our resort will offer something, but I like to check around for best recommended (and priced) tour operators. There are only 2 of us and the companies I've looked at so far seem to offer private tours that seem pricey ($200+ each it seems). I'd like to book a small group tour to help bring down the cost (but avoid a large bus tour if possible). Any recommendations on tour companies with tours already set up? Or should I just go with the resort offerings? Thanks for any advice you may have!

I work with a couple of small tour operators, but they are based here in the north coast of Jamaica (not on the south west). Anyway, it will not hurt to check Ryan at BigDealTours.com. He is a a great tour guide/driver.

https://www.negrilonestop.com/

This is my favorite website for Negril. I see they also offer a lot of different tours. I have never done one (I've been to Negril 3x but just go around on my own) but would give you something to compare to the resort's own offerings.

If you want to sightsee, Negril isn't a great choice, being on the far west side of the island. It's mostly for people who don't want to do more than beach stuff, drinking, etc.....
