Help- St John's Lodging in June

Hi everyone,

Can anyone give any advice on lodging in St John's. I am looking for a place with a great pool and great views. I am only staying a few days so I want this to be a memorable trip. Any suggestions? I saw that the Westin was full Thanks for your help.

Try Gallows Point or Lavender Hill Suites. They have both views and a decent pool. If you are not too picky, you could try Coconut Coast as well, which is right on the water, but I don't think they have a pool. It is kind of late in the game to find reservations for only a few days. Since it is "low season" maybe some of the villas will let you rent on a daily basis. You might check with sites like www.carefreegetaways.com or www.caribbeandays.com

I also recommend Gallow's Point. Small, but nice pool and jacuzzi. Wonderful views, easy walk to Cruz Bay. Pools are not really the draw on STJ. One thing I'd like to add is that you don't have to go through Suite St John to reserve Gallow's. St John Suites only own a handful of the units. You can also book through Gallow's Point. They have a website. Lavender Hill looks OK, I didn't see the inside, but there is pretty major construction going on next door to one of the buildings. The one on the left if you are looking at LH. I think the name of the place they are building is called Grand Bay Resort or something like that.
