Too Many to please..need help

I am the appointed trip planner for about six adults.......The budget for five nights lodging is 4000. Here is what I am asking for responses.
We are lkg for a Caribbean location that will provide at least GOOD snorkeling, a town center to stroll day/night and a beach to "veg" on...
we have already been to cayman, thinking about St Thomas/John....we found cayman wonderful....we're thinking to do a villa rental or all suite hotel...a lot to ask but again, I'm aiming to please...

When are you going (high season or low)? It makes quite a difference as to where you can go on your budget.

On either St. Thomas or St.John, $4,000 will get you a pretty nice villa for six adults (3 bedrooms) with the money on St. Thomas go a bit further. Look on sites like www.caribbeandays.com or www.carefreegetaways.com Either island will provide what you are looking for with St. Thomas having a bit more nightlife and St. John being more laid-back and less developed.

Be sure to get a cook and housekeeping staff with your house/villa - then, everyone can focus on enjoying their vacation! You might also enjoy Puerto Rico, too. Villas of Distinction has some really wonderful places and reasonable prices.

Have a great day!

keep thinking of st. john...we travel there quite a bit and it has what you are looking for.we have gone a few times w/6 adults, rented a villa and have always had a great time. snorkeling is very good from the MANY stunning beaches/also great to relax on since lots have shade available.the town of cruz bay is a fab/fun place to stroll/shop/dine/drink, day or night.we always stay in a villa, rent a car and explore the island !! for us every day is an adventure.there are many restaurants and bars to enjoy and to be entertained, and enough choices for all budgets. march is a great time to go,it is "high" season so prices will be up but for the price you stated you should not have a problem. we've used the same rental company for 10 yrs and have always been happy with the villas and the staff, which are right on island. www.caribbeanvilla.com -- good luck !!
