Planning a trip to St.Thomas is July and need a really great place for dinner, would like something reaaaaaaaalllllllly special. Thanks

Craig and Sally's in Frenchtown. The food is wonderful - Sally is the Chef and Craig (her husband) manages the place. It is really nice and super food. The menu changes nightly. I have been there for special occasions.

My suggestion would be Havanna Blue. Located on Morningstar Beach, it is beautiful, chic, and soooo romantic. The food is outstanding and the service is great without being intrusive.

My plans for my next visit to St. John includes a one night stay on St. Thomas, just to be able to enjoy dining there.

I second Craig and Sally's! I was there 8 years ago... and it still stands out in my mind. It's a bit darker... not as "islandy".... so perhaps you could try another place for some pre-dinner cocktails.

Take the ferry over to St.John and try Aesolare or ZoZo's (ZoZo's is a fair walk from town, but do-able....Aesolare, you'd have to pick up a taxi)
