Grand Cayman airline tickets

Has anyone purchased airline tickets from Caymanislands.ky website? Its price is better than anywhere i've found; i just don't really know where i'm buying the tickets from. Any info on this, or any other site where i might get better prices for February, would be a great help.

When we went to Grand Cayman in 2003. I used that web-site to plan our trip. That is were I found that Cayman air will fly out of Houston non-stop to Georgetown at a great price. Though we did not book through them directly, my personal TA matched their price.

www.caymanislands.ky is the official site of the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism... the flight and hotel search engine on the right side of the home page uses Expedia, so same rates as you get from Expedia.com

www.caymanairways.com has great rates on Cayman Airways whenever they have special offers.

As of today though, consider using Spirit Airlines if you can fly on them through Fort Lauderdale... service starts Feb 9th, specials from $79 each way on the Spirit Airlines website, must be booked by Sep 30th !

Cayman Airways web site has been down for the last couple of days - not sure what is going on there.

If you book your hotel or condo through www.caymanvacations.com they also offer discounted airfare on Cayman Airways.
Winter airfare from Boston or Chicago on a weekend for example is $585us per adult and includes all taxes. The last time I checked via the tourism/Expedia web site it was around $700 for the same flights.

Delta Airlines also has some sales on right now that you might want to check on. They fly via Atlanta.
Cheers
John

I've tried booking through the Cayman Airways site and when I get to the final payment area it usually crashes. So, last time I picked up the phone and called the 800 number. No problem, and no extra fee. They'll book it on the phone (wow! a real voice!) and they will email your ticket. It's really a piece of cake. So, go with Cayman Air direct if you want, but I'd recommend not doing it online until they get all their kinks worked out.
